Felt Desk Pad — Anthracite Grey, Keyboard and Mouse | PopMyPad

Felt mouse pad — the deskmat that quiets your keyboard

Felt is the most discreet of the three materials: a matte feel, slight resistance under the mouse, and above all an acoustic absorption that neither fabric nor leather can match. On a mechanical keyboard the difference is audible straight away — the resonance of the desk surface simply disappears. It is the choice of shared offices and video calls.

Key strengths

• 🔇 Sound absorption: the density of the felt muffles switch resonance and the sound of typing against the desk.
• 🧣 Matte feel: a slight resistance, welcome in office work where precision matters more than speed.
• 🌿 Warm look: anthracite grey sits well with light wood and with metal alike.
• 🔒 Non-slip backing: stays in place without adhesive.
• 📐 Three sizes: 31.5 × 15.7, 35.4 × 15.7 and 39.4 × 15.7 in (80 × 40, 90 × 40 and 100 × 40 cm).

What you should know

• Felt pills slightly at friction points after a few months — a fabric shaver takes care of it.
• It does not get on with liquids: wipe spills immediately and never soak it.
• For competitive gaming, choose micro-woven fabric instead: the friction of felt cannot be tuned.
